Beyonce, born Beyonce Giselle Knowles on September 4, 1981, Beyonce has accomplished many things in the last decade. Not only is she a Grammy Award winning R&B singer, she is also a successful songwriter, producer, dancer, actress and fashion designer. Beyonce rose to fame in 1998 at the tender age of 17 with the all girl R&B band Destiny's Child. Their first major hit was "No, No, No Part 2" that rose to #1 on the R&B/Pop charts at billboard. They then want on to have four #1 hits on billboard over the course of the band.

Beyonce set out to pursue her solo career after Desiny's Child dismembered and released her first solo album in 2003 titled ”Dangerously In Love” which entered Billboard 200 at #1 selling 317 000 albums in the first week and eventually went 4x platinum. Beyonce's second solo album, title "B'day" was released in September 2006 and coincided with Beyonce’s 25th birthday. B'day also released in the number one spot on the Billboard 200 selling an astounding 541 000 copies during its first week on the market. Aside from music Beyonce has either made an appearance or stared in 6 movies to date, Carmen: A Hip Hopera, Austin Powers in Goldmember, The Fighting Temptations, Fade to Black, The Pink Panther and Dreamgirls. To top it all off, Beyonce has been dating one of Hip Hop's biggest stars Jay-z and are rumored to be getting married at some point in the near future.
