Fergie, aka Stacy Ferguson, was born on March 27, 1975 in Whitter, California. Fergie began her entertainment career back in the 1980s on the TV program Kids Incorporated. In 1991 she formed the group Wild Orchid with fellow cast member Renee Sandstrom. After the demise of Wild Orchid, Fergie went through a rough patch where she was addicted to Crystal Meth, "the hardest boyfriend [she] ever had to break up with". Recovered from her addiction, Fergie joined The Black Eyed Pees in 2003 and helped propel the group into superstar status. Finally in 2006, Fergie embarked on a solo career with the release of her first album, The Dutchess, produced by fellow BEP member Will.I.am, and the hit single London Bridge.
