The Red Hot Chili Peppers, who were originally named Tony Flow and the Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem began their journey in rock and roll music in 1983. They formed for what was supposed to be a one time only show, but had major chemistry between original band mates Michael "Flea" Balzary (bass), Anthony Kiedis (vocals), Jack Irons (drums), and Hillel Slovak (guitar). Jack Irons and Hillel Slovak had prior obligations to another band so when the Red Hot Chili peppers released their debut album in 1984 through EMO, it was done with replacements Jack Sherman and Cliff Martinez.
